Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 8:00am - 6:00pm Up to 25 hours/week
OVERVIEW:
Working as Part-time Distribution Center Administration, you will be involved with recruiting and onboarding new employees, as well as, supporting various administrative functions at our Distribution Center located at 940 W Wilbeth Rd, Akron, OH 44314. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Answering phones and providing customer service
o Preserving and maintaining confidentiality in all facets of employee interaction
o Maintaining confidential files, documents and records
o Preparing onboarding packets and conducting new employee orientation
o Gathering new employee paperwork for processing
o Attending and participating in hiring and recruitment events and tracking efforts
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess a current full valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located (including successful completion of any applicable graduated license program for your state or province) as well as the ability to meet our driving record requirements to use a company vehicle, as needed
o Prior administrative/customer service experience OR industry experience and product knowledge
o Proficient written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
o Successfully pass a post offer pre-employment drug screen, background check, and previous employment verification, required by a customer/contract serviced by this location
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess or are working towards a degree in Human Resources, Administration, Communication OR have relevant administrative work experience
