OVERVIEW:
Working as Full-time Sales Development Administrator, you will support our enterprise sales teams by researching, analyzing and managing target prospect information. You will manage and complete intake of requests and assist in identifying sales development outreach priorities for various segments of the business. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Researching and identifying prospects with the use of resources and data
o Providing Customer Service to internal stakeholders
o Collaborating with leadership to determine industry vertical focus
o Transferring data and managing information in various formats into CRM records
o Aligning prioritized accounts with the appropriate sales personnel
REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess at least 2 years of Fastenal work experience OR have 2 years of work experience in customer service, sales, marketing, education or administration
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Work independently as well as in a team environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)
PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Possess experience in a sales development or sales enablement role
o Knowledge of sales processes or supporting sales
o Previous experience using sales management tools such as Microsoft 365 Dynamics
o Previous experience using SharePoint management
o Previous experience with a contract management system
