OVERVIEW:
Working as a Full-time Sales Development Lead, lead a group who support sales operations and be responsible for enabling other Sales Development Representatives (SDR) to be successful in their roles, in order to build pipeline and drive market share for our organization in North America and/or internationally. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
o Leading, onboarding and training new and existing sales development representatives
o Recruiting, hiring and maintaining recruiting relationships
o Providing leadership and motivating the SDR team to achieve collective and individual goals
o Maintaining and continuing innovative development of the SDR playbook with processes and best practices to ensure efficiencies
o Performing organizational research and discovery of prospective customers
o Identifying and qualifying prospective contract customers and key decision makers
o Recording all activity in Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other systems as necessary

REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
The following skills and qualifications are required for this position:
o Possess at least 1 year of Fastenal work experience in industry sales, administration, education, marketing or customer service OR possess at least 1 year of work experience in a supervisory role in industry sales, administration, marketing or customer service
o Excellent written and oral communication skills
o Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
o Highly motivated and self directed with the ability to motivate others
o Demonstrate strong organization, planning and prioritizing abilities
o Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills
o Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
o Ability to lead and motivate a team of employees
o Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
o Demonstrate our core values of ambition, innovation, integrity and teamwork
o Lift, slide and lower packages that typically weigh 25lbs-50lbs and may weigh up to 75lbs
o Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico and Guam ONLY)

PREFERRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
o Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator and MS Dynamics CRM
o Previous work experience in sales development, lead generation or research
